10× org build. Three platforms. One regulatory migration. Through COVID.
Arrived in Shanghai with two people and a mandate to build Nike's in-region digital capability from scratch. Scaled to 120+ across product, design, and engineering. Led the full migration of every consumer experience into China-resident infrastructure for PIPL compliance. Ran three simultaneous platform partnerships — Alibaba on Tmall, Tencent on WeChat, Riot Games on League of Legends Pro League. The complexity wasn't in any one of them. It was in holding all three in parallel while the regulatory environment kept moving.
Every traditional retail channel went dark during COVID lockdowns. The WeChat platform was already built. Demand grew 20% through the collapse — not despite it, because of the infrastructure already in place. The Maxim Award, Nike's top org honor, went to the team that year. You don't win that for shipping features. You win it for building something that holds when everything else breaks.

800+ stores. Hardware modernization. A POS fleet rebuilt from the ground up.
Defined and led the hardware and digital modernization strategy across an 800+ store physical footprint. This initiative fundamentally rearchitected physical operations by shifting enterprise compute to the cloud and deploying a proprietary, home-built POS ecosystem to 100% of the fleet.
By aggressively consolidating dozens of disparate operational apps into a unified, high-efficiency mobile suite — backed by a central enterprise design system, AI labor scheduling, and advanced RFID — the transformation drastically reduced friction for frontline teams while driving massive gains in operational scale, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.
Scale isn't a credential, it's what gets built when you stay, and what gets built on the side when one job can't hold the whole practice.

Leading at scale requires staying close to the metal. Detent is a specialized iOS application I engineered to solve a specific gap in specialty coffee IoT. By utilizing computer vision to read complex packaging and seamlessly automate precision brewing profiles on connected hardware, the project is an active exercise in machine learning, hardware-software integration, and minimalist UX execution.
The hardware integration is specific. The camera pipeline isn't.
